Botulinum toxin type A
The most requested, non surgical wrinkle-relaxing treatment. This procedure is extremely successful for frown lines ('glabella'), forehead and crows feet. When injected into muscles, this temporarily freezes the muscles and puts them to sleep for a period of 3-6 months. It then works by relaxing the specific muscles that cause lines to form. Not only are fine lines & wrinkles smoothed out, but new ones are also prevented from forming. Results can be seen from 2-14 days after treatment. In some instances a filler may also be required for deeper lines. This can also be used for Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating of the armpits).
